64", was thinking about a 78", but apparently that is not likely...
Sex is overrated anyway, go for itI have a samsung 64" which seemed massive when I got it 2 years ago but now seems normal
When 42" plasma was first available I was in that currys just off J9 on the M6
They had one in there, I'd never seen anything like it, must have been 15-20 years ago, I asked the salesman for a price £25,000
Within a year hey were down to £5,995
In costco last week I saw a 90" for £9995
40" In the living room.
20" In the bedroom, but we move it literally to the end of the bed so plenty big enough, if we're actually watching something on it, which we don't often do.
Our TV in the living room is a few years old now, and I'm really liking the current models with the smaller frame. TO be honest though, there is no need to change it so we'll keep it a couple more years I should think.
Whilst we're on the subject, how many of you have actually wall mounted your TV? Why do so many put them so high up on the wall like they are hanging a painting? Does it not annoy you to have to look up at it when watching? I've never done it but don't see the appeal. Is it just to get it out of the way?
Mine is, and always will be, eye level with me sitting on the sofa.

I actually downsized from a 42" (thick border) to a 39" (thin border) as our main TV as the 42" was just a little too big for the space - I don't really notice the difference in viewing and the set looks much more in keeping with the room.
I have recently picked up a projector and screen though (for less than the cost of a decent 50" TV) and can now project 3D/1080p on a portable screen of over 100" and that is like sitting in a cinema, just without the adverts and general public.

42" but it's prob about 7 years old now, and that was a reasonable size then. The spot where it sits in the lounge can't really accommodate anything much larger, and tbh even though i work in technology i couldn't really give that much of a st. Most of the guys i work with wax lyrical about their 'home rig', all the streaming devices and services, new tv series from america (at the rate of several a week) and their multiple games consoles... i have sky HD and couldn't give a fk about any of that. I watch TV programmes that people banged on about 3-5 years ago, once they've all shut the fk up about them and i can enjoy them in peace! Currently watching the first series of both breaking bad and game of thrones.
