BBC HD, ESPN Sports HD (fantastic picture quality on the football), Living HD, FX HD, MTV HD, National Geographic HD and maybe Channel 4, not sure about that one.

There are loads of on demand programmes in HD too.

there are rumours (on the net, rather than any insider knowledge) that part of the reason for updated encryption - such as is now in place in Leeds, and stopping all of the dodgy box owners getting movies for nothing - is that Sky put it as a pre-requisite for getting their extended HD channel line up. I have no idea if that is true or not, be good if it was though.

Would be very good indeed. I would love Sky Sports HD but cannot have a dish where I live.

That time of year again to get onto virginmedia and see what I can squeeze out of them in terms of discounts. Has anyone tried this recently? Is it the same ruse - say you're off to sky and they offer all sorts of deals?
