I've currently just got entertainment, HD, kids and Go extra, which I'm paying £18 a month for. Ordered a 2nd TV, so going to need to add multi-room and may as well add UHD, and will probably try and roll Netflix into the contract, which I'm paying £8.99 for HD at the moment.

Signature looks like it's going to cost me more, for not much, so that's not looking very appealing.

Can't seem to find any way to add multi-room via the website at the moment....

Have they changed the packages around again to hide it?! Tips/suggestions welcome....
I think they have moved their packages around and some agents appear to be clueless on how they work. I had to ring in the third time about my package not being correct. As you can check your future bills to ensure it it..

Their service appears to have gone massively down hill..

Needs a visit to setup multi-room so you can't buy it at the moment.

You can't even get an extra box once you actually have it.

Managed to speak to someone today, but the deals are rubbish. They're more than happy to come and install, but to add UHD and multi-room, with rolling in Netflix as well, it'll take it to £54 a month, which is silly compared to what I pay now

I tried to use a code the OP gave me but came unstuck due to wanting Q but being on a shared satellite dish so no go.
I had already left sky by this point.
In the end i logged in to sky and got a screen about resubscribing with a phone # on it.
I phoned and ended up;
£79
Fibre
All channels
Films
Sky Sport
BT Sport
on my original HD box
Really pleased overall.

Deals are rubbish unless you are almost out of contract (mine's not up till January, so they've got me over a barrel)

I called 0333 759 1599 and got through in about 10 minutes

Sounds like a good deal, same price I negotiated. I have Q (3 boxes) without Sports + Netflix included..

Is there no live chat to have a haggle with them any longer? All I can see is this stupid asynchronous messaging system they’ve set up.

After cancelling the sports when the Covid started up I’m down to paying £22.00 for the Entertainment pack in HD with no box sets. Checking my future bills shows me at £35 for the same thing from next month. It probably was about a year ago when I did my last deal with them so that will be expiring next month, though I’m not sure where they are getting £35 from.

I’ll have to strike another deal before the higher charge comes in. I can give my 31 days’ notice from next week. I’ll maybe look to add the sports back, but is the only way to do it to call them?

Basically, yes. Unless you are, by some miracle, able to get an acceptable deal by clicking the boxes on the website.

I'm not out of contract till January, so I'm just going to try them every couple of weeks until the offer improves.....

There is a chat option as long as you want to ask the right question - when the red button turns green (I've seen it 3 or 4 times in the last three hours) you get a pop-up window asking again why you're getting in touch, choose the wrong option and you get booted.

Ask me how I know this.

I just want the Sky Sports deal I had (via someone on PH) reinstated, they appear to have cancelled it rather than paused.

I was in similar situation as you - the £35 is £29 for Entertainment and £6 for HD.

Sky actually called me because I'd cancelled Sports and offered me a discount to add it back. I'm sure nowhere near as good as the crazy discounts people seem to get but it was £18 for the full Sports pack in HD so I took it.

I think I messaged those back who got in touch. Let me know. There's also a few other sky folks on this thread that could help add to the number of deals we can give?

I just managed to get though on the live chat and strike a deal.

Not the best I’ve ever done, but time was against me with the football being back tomorrow.

I’ve got Signature (can’t have Entertainment any longer apparently) in HD and the two football channels from the Sports for £45 per month. Signature for 18 months and the sports on 31 days notice.

As I say, not the best by any stretch, but at least it means I don’t have to fart about cancelling and haggling with retentions.

Normally I'd say no problem but I'm running short of codes too!

Perfect timing by our esteemed leaders with the footy coming back. You would think they planned it!

Surprise, surprise, they wouldn't give me the previous deal - £15/m for all sports - best they would offer is either £18/m for all on an 18-month contract or £18/m for the two football channels on a rolling 31 day. I chose the latter.

Am I getting rinsed? Now out of contract.

Feel I’m paying a lot for it.

You're not getting rinsed, you're getting waterboarded.
