My current freeview HDR, which I have had for maybe 4 years, no longer gets EPG updates because they are no longer broadcast to my model and this is a right royal pain.

So, I decided that perhaps it was time to replace it. Although freeview HD will not be in my area for a couple of years, it seems sensible to buy a freeview+ HDR now. From what I gather, looks like upscaling to 1080p will improve standard digital pictures, so seems worthwhile.

I have looked at the Sagemcom RT190-320 (or maybe the 500 version), which looks good but I have read a couple of poor reviews (problems with sound seems to be a theme). Anyone have any opinions on this unit? Or any other recomendations for an alternative model?

Thanks.

For reasons I won't bore you with, I can't have a dish (and no fibre in the street either), so its standard freeview+ PVR I am looking for... thanks anyway.

Why do none of these things have 2tb disks in them? They are so cheap these days it seems a waste.

1TB Freeview HD PVR. From my research, the DigitalStream seems to be the least bugged. I'm replacing an old Humax 9200T and an even older Sagem.
