For my AV set-up i'm running Naim power amps with QED X-Tube 400 speaker wire. On the fronts the right speaker is approx. twice the distance from the Amp than the left/centre speaker. Is it ok to have odd lengths of speaker wire, like 5m,5m,10m for left/centre/right channels? The Naim documentation says "burn in hell", but I can obviously set the delays to compensate for the odd lengths.

It's not the timing difference I was concerned about (that can be adjusted through the amp, even if I could hear it), but the continued resistance load difference due to variation in length of the speaker wire. Again Naim imply i'm going to Hell, didn't are about it before, and the speaker wire ain't cheap (more importantly)!!!!
