Getting so confused. Just a few years ago I paid over £3.500 for a 42" Sony Plasma which is now really outdated. I now want to consider replacing it with a 50' but would like something that will not be obsolete just after opening the box.
HD, Blue Ray, Plasma, LED, 3D!!!!! All these terms mean little to me. All I want is the best possible picture and sound quality at a sensible price. I am not interested in picture in picture, freeze picture etc etc.
I am not into gadgets just good quality. Some research suggests Panasonic or LG, possibly Pioneer. Maybe Sony again or are they overrated?
Any suggestions?
