Home Ceiling/Wall Speakers in a car?

In process of remodelling the kitchen and have a pair of Boston Acoustics DSi455 speakers spare.

They may well end up in the garage ceiling, but is there any reason (apart from the weight) I couldn't use them in the back shelf of a car?

Thanks all for the advice, hadn't thought of the 4 v 8 ohm thing.

Probably too nice to bodge into the car anyway, garage ceiling here they come!
