New TV

My dad is up for a new TV I can get him to spend £800 looking for 40" LCD what do you think please

well then, I have had 3 plasma sets 1 pioneer 2 hatachi, now i have LCD, 1 sharp 1 sony the LCD's are much better than the plasma sets, the pioneer had sky sports in the corrner what a pice of c**p now gone, the xbox and PS3 run the hatachi's still in good order

I think the SAMSUNG LE40C580 40" Full HD LCD TV for £549 looks good to me

If you've already decided on the Samsung, then why did you post asking for advice?

If you hadn't decided on the Samsung when you posted, then why are you ignoring all the advice?

This is not the only sorce of advice and I have been looking myself, also I wanted an unbiased opinion,
