A quick update for those that are panning to "run-in" to the Top Cats event on Saturday. When we met last time, we arranged to meet at the Crows Nest at 10.15 to leave at 10.30 for a run in; but that was based on the assumption the Open Day started at 11am. Now we know it starts at noon we'll be meeting at the Crow's Nest for about 1100-1115 and leave about 1120 or so to get to TC for noon, ish.
OK
OK
I may see many of you at Topcats later but for those I don’t here are the details for next Sunday’s “FUN-course”.
All proceeds to the Hospice of St Francis
http://www.stfrancis.org.uk/misc-channel/general-i...
The theme is “The TVR I’d Most Like to Take Home”
Entry fee = £1.00. In return you will get a Hospice collection box which will need to be attached to your car (please bring a zip-tie)
If all goes to plan the HoStF will also provide a leaflet which will say “If you like my car, put a £1 in the jar”.
This is how we will vote for our favorite ie by putting a £1 coin in the box attached to your top three favorite cars. Please do feel free to put more than £1 in or put £1 in as many boxes as you want. That way we raise more for the Hospice.
The winner will be the heaviest box. Does anyone have an accurate scales which goes upto 3kgs? And can I have a couple of volunteers to help me on the day please?
Arrive for 1130; judging from 1200, prize giving 1400.
See you there.

At the Little Horrwood fete (Nr Winslow, North Bucks) they have a classic and interesting car display and I have been asked if I could get a few TVR's along to this years.
Its the afternoon of Saturday the 12th July and proceeds are in aid of the local church
The fete starts at 2:00pm and they would like the cars to be in place by 1:30
Its on the local cricket ground and access is off Church Street between the Church and the Shoulder of Mutton pub, Postcode MK17 0PF is just about on the button
If any of you are looking for an excuse for a drive out and can spare a few hours they would appreciate it.
Many thanks
Roger

On the subject of Bucks car shows, it is the 11th Brill classic and sports car show on Sunday 24th August from noon, and the theme is Brill,s tribute to The Italian job - A really good excuse to attract all good things british and Italian. In order that the Brits put in a good showing, any Tivvers that can make it would be especially welcomed. We know its the same day as Blenhem palace, but if you are not going there or fancy popping in on the way back, please do. It's laid back, come and go as you please, free entry, with BBQ, beer festival, stalls and attractions. 120+ cars last year, so not massive but big enough to be interesting. Any thoughts welcomed.
REMINDER - the details for next Sunday’s “FUN-course”.

Reminder - only just over a week to go and the Brit muscle car and italian exotic competition is about even - Tiv's and maserati's matched for numbers, so a few more of Blackpools finest could win the day for the home side!!mph.52 said:

Congratulations to Steve for winning the "Fun-course".
Thanks to all of you who turned up. I got a letter form the Hospice of St Francis on Friday thanking us for our donation; between us we raised £80.59 for the charity. Don't ask me how we ended up with an odd 89p!
