Sorry
The windscreen fitting took longer than expected so I didn't get out in the car until 2pm so figured I'd missed the party
Next time then smile

Yes it has been a while, not started the old girl for 6 weeks now and am missing that noise. Hope the cold hasn't got to her!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone. Hope to see you at the next meeting in the new year.

Hi All,

Hope you had a good day yesterday and got all you hoped for (Accumate, Wax etc ?).

Cant wait for a drive out but not worth the risk just yet.

Happy New Year,
Tony.

Hope you had a good festive period Clive.
I am in the early stages of planning a trip to Munich in either April or June for me and the misses and I am constantly drawn towards a day or 2 at the ring on the way back. I am very tempted to have a few laps like you did - but I may need some reassurance and encouragement from you as I am a bit weary about track days and have never had the tiv on the track before. Were people happy to let you tootle around at your own pace or did you find you were hammering it a bit to keep up with quicker metal (or fibreglass!)?

Hi Guys,

Ran mine on Monday - first time we've had dry roads for 2 months. Started first time (Thanks Accumate!). Took miles to warm up but came home with a smile on my face for the first time in ages. Absolutely no grip from the road but great fun. Then spent the rest of the day washing (garden sprinkler under the car works wonders).
See you when the sun shines.

hi huw,

I saw you out on Monday at the Peacock Roundabout near Willaston. I was in the White Z4 which you did seem to give an admiring glance. Its the missus car. Mig

Admiring Looks! Envious of someone with traction control perhaps.

Nice to be spotted by someone - I've always assumed that I drive in Stealth mode or its so loud that people turn away.

Hopefully we'll see your Tuscan out at our get-togethers this year.

Huw

Hi,

Does the South Cheshire ever meet ? the reason I ask is that I have a TVR (only a race car tho) and if there is any meets keep me informed.

Thanks

Tony

We seem to be more of a fair weather bunch! I think we got up to 10 cars at one meet last year.

My S is now fixed but unfortunately its currently in Nottingham. Should get it back in a few weeks so that should coincide with some better weather... just in time for a meet! :0)
