If there is enough support, could you get TVRCC to organise or promote as an official club day. Will ensure better support as a drag/family day + the benefit of many insurers possibly covering cars for an event like this. Sounds good to me.

Even if they did promote it. it would not exclude other peeps coming to it. Loads of non TVRCC memebers go to TVRCC events, this is the OP's event though.

But being interested in what my 4.6 FHC Tasmin Racer would do on a strip (currently a 3.9 but doing an upgrade for 2011).

Just make sure it avoids weekends such as 11/12 June which is LeMans.

A thread similar has been placed on the TVRCC forum and has generated further interest.
I have contacted the club regarding their events calendar to try and avoid any clashes with other events.

I dont consider myself to be the sole organiser, just the initial idea was mine. All help with further ideas and organisation will be appreciated.

I will update the list of cars soon. Its steadily growing and some really interesting cars are coming out to play!

I havent done a standing 1/4 since I had my Supra. That did it in 13.5 in standard trim shall be interesting what the Tuscan can do, I expect it to be a little better than that!
