Hi all,
Just wanted to say hello.
Couldn't offer any 'push the car' help as I'm not back for another week.
Wheels are off the Tuscan for reconditioning. Should be back on tomorrow ready for a service at TorqueRVT before I get home for my drive.
Where has your Chim got too? Was getting used to seeing it parked at the end of your drive!

Hi quat,
Its round the back of the house.
Wife likes it out of the way when I'm away.
Counting down now. Just got to get Ian to Service the Tuscan ready for when I get home next week.
Is your Chimaera a similar colour ? I have seen one several times going past but I always see it too late.
Tony.

I do pass your way now and then, whilst out for a drive! I am not sure of my exact colour as I have been told it is porsche iris blue and BMW iris blue metallic, however the porsche blue is too dark and after a trip to BMW in Crewe they confirmed it is not one of theirs. I can always get some paint made-up by eye if neccesary. Anyway it's the one below.
I keep seeing a very late silver '02' reg Chim 450 heading along Gresty road but have never met the guy at meets/get togethers.

Give that man a cigar! I took a few quick shots there too keep the insurance company happy and it's the only bit of green grass the council give us deprived Crewe folk (although I have heard the new Queens Park revamp is very nice).
I take it you have tried the carvery then Jon?

Just a quick (painful) update...
TrackvRoad have told me an MOT is impossible (legally) as....
The outriggers are shot.
Not by a little bit.
By a lot.
The kind that has taken a few years etc etc....
Bearing in mind that my car WAS being 'cared for' by the above mentioned TVR independant and has been through full services/mot's and pre purchase inspection by him...
Also other mechanical gremlins that should have been sorted or at the very least I should have been alerted to...
That was not a good phone call, AND it was bloody sunny all weekend...!!
That means my budget is almost shot on the chassis work and the delay in getting that sorted puts this summer out of the question. (sounds of grown man weeping into his pint...)
As you can imagine, I was not the best company at the weekend, but onwards and upwards...
I bloody love that car and shes a keeper, so the work is planned and the saving starts again...
In the words of a drug riddled Austrian, "I'll be back..."

Thanks again for the offers of help, it was very kind.
Any offers of a ride out over the summer would be apprieciated to keep the spirits up!!

As ever,

Cuffia.

Hi guys, not a TVR owner myself, just an enthusiast, picked my first car up on Friday, Punto Sporting, see profile for a picture and am a keen photographer. I have noticed a few TVR's knocking around the Crewe and Nantwich area, Grey T350, Silver/Ice Blue Chimaera and a Cerbera ?? Just wondered if i could pop along to a local pub meet and take a few pics etc..... ?

Cheers,

Adam.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, chin up. Where do you live? You can come for a spin in mine, but i'm not home that often. As mentioned before, would like to meet a few other SCPists, maybe over a pint sometime? Anyone know The Pheasant in Burwardsly?

I guess I'd be speaking for everyone on here by saying of course you're welcome! Just keep an eye out on here. (But please tell me if I'm being out of order fellow TVR folk, as I've only ever been to one meet!) biggrin

Hello all, long time no see. Clive- what was the place you took the wedge to before your 'ring trip? I'm after getting a bit of engine diagnostics done as she's running a bit rough at the moment and the chap seemed to sort yours out nicely. Cheers Rob.

Managed to get myself there on monday night for a bite to eat with the parents, lovely!

On another note, are any of you going to CPoP? It's probably my last time home for a while before my job takes me away for a bit, but if any SCP members are going then maybe we could meet up?

Hi SCP,

I'm back on Saturday after a few (too many) months at sea. Anyone want to go for a drive anytime soon, meet up for a pint maybe?

Next few weekends aren't necessarily so good, but i'll keep an eye on here and I'm/pm me if you want. Hopefully we can get something organized?

I'm North Staffs so not far away. Only problem is you guys seem to be into Chimaera's (and why not - cos I love em too) but I have a T350 - but would love to meet up too!
