Thunder in the tunnels 8
Discussion
Had a last minute reprieve from family duties so have added myself to the list. Over the moon as I've done every TiTT since 4 and was gutted at the prospect of missing this one...
Two questions:
1. Is there a Hampshire region convoy? If not, how about a rendez-vous at Liphook Services on the A3 for a convoy through the Hindhead tunnel? 4:30am for 4:45 depart?
2. If anyone has a spare seat and is passing (or can go past) Four Marks, there's a lost soul who'd love to come along for the ride - PM me if you can.
Cheers

Ok for anyone that hasn't received the route/details yet, I'll be doing one last group send tomorrow evening, including the few requests I've had today.
IMPORTANT ROUTE NOTE:
I have sent out the itn with less waypoints as before so that it is less prescriptive, and to reduce the chance of your nav unit not recognising that you've already been past a specific point twice. With that in mind, please don't just follow your nav to the letter and use common sense if it tells you to turn right, where there is no right turn, or go left where the lanes may be marked straight on. Even having tested the route, nav units are thick...most people are not so trust your own judgement and just use the route as a guide.
The itn file will at some stage try to take you from trafalgar square, down the mall towards buckingham palace...however we are now 99% sure that the mall will be close to traffic due to a charity cycle ride.
If this is the case, you may need to mark them on your nav unit as "visited" when you get to trafalgar square, so that you can carry on the route...towards parliament square.
Also note.....cyclists and sports cars both belong on on the road and there is a chance out route may cross a small section of the charity ride route near to the embankment. Please respect whatever signs etc might be in place and be extra vigilant for any novice cyclists.
Maybe give them a blip or two just to ensure they know you've seen them etc
Finally: there Berks convoy is still looking quite light....any more want to join us??!

Is anyone else getting excited about this already or is it just me.
Over 100 TVR's driving round London, they won't know what hit them!
I'd love to be a random person sitting at a set of traffic lights minding my own business, all calm and chilled out, then all of sudden a load of TVR's coming tearing past (possibly in different directions) waking the neighbourhood up!
