Le Mans, 2011, 1am on the campsite and it was all unusually quiet. Until..... some wag decided we would start up line of Cerberas and with one of the group conducting, the noise was raucous! Great for Le Mans....... but for Poole?

Latest update, is that the Quay for my Car website will be updated today to show the event.

The quay has capacity for 80-85 TVRs according to Poole Tourism. So let's pack it out, and, ahem, perhaps once everyone has arrived, say at 7pm we can do a synced "Engine start" and a short blip "crescendo", for each of the various makes, like a TVR engine concerto.



For example:

7.00pm-7.01pm - Pre-80's classic models
7.05pm-7.06pm - 80s Wedges & other models
7.10pm-7.11pm - Griffiths
7.15pm-7.16pm - Chimaeras
7.20pm-7.21pm - Cerberas (bound to be the noisiest)
7.25pm-7.26pm - Tuscans
7.30pm-7.31pm - Tamoras/T350s
7.35pm-7.36pm - Sagaris
7.40pm-7.41pm - All cars in the orchestral finale!

Perhaps, but the part of the quay involved doesn't have much in the way of residential property, and is mainly bars & restaurants. It would certainly get everyone's attention!

Having just purchased a Tuscan S from Racing green I hope to make it to Poole for this event, business and motor sport permitting. I presume it's just a case of turning up on the night?

It is indeed, although an indication of how likely you are to turn up would be good as the Quay has a max of about 85 cars.
