An encouraging visit to the Three Tuns pub in Ashwell. It is very well situated and is also used by other car clubs. We met some Westfield/Lotus 7 guys there today. Their normal meet is the 2nd Sunday but they decided to come back again today for an extra trip out I'm told. (Doesn't that speak volumes for the pub?)

Well worthy of consideration for an alternative venue IMHO

Kate and I had a great time today even though i got lost this morning and could not find the meet point.
I did make it to the red lion but too late



I blame my satnav

made it to the tudor oaks no problem and was first there.
Also found the three Tuns pub in Ashwell was very good including the roast dinner i had

Sorry. I was told that you Lotus guys visit was an extra unscheduled one. Those of us who went were made to feel
welcome by everyone. Thank you.
It's not really practical to have the same meeting day, as the TVRCC can get 30 ish cars turn up. Hmmmmm! Plan B anyone?

Paul, we must have missed you about 5 mins, had a parking space booked as well



Was also very impressed by the Three Tuns in Ashwell, good to mix it with the Caterham boy's.
