Shall we do it all again next weekend?!! Maybe earlier so we have more time for stops and maybe have less traffic on the road.

Any suggestions for route? Anyone want to lead part of the way?

Jon

Reminder of last month...

Date: Sunday 19th April.
Meet: 8:30 to leave at 9am!! Was too tight for time last time..

Hope the car is ready Shabs. Got to change the cam followers on mine soon and the engine is down on power, so hope it lasts out the run whistle

If the parts arive it will be, changing PAS hoses looks like a one day job for a muppet like me smile. I would give a testicle for a nice garage right about now, I hate doing this stuff on the street!

I wonder if there would be enough demand for a tooled-up garage that you could rent by the day to DIY your car for sods like me who live in London?

Shabs
Have a word with Spyschim. I rented a large space with drive on ramps at his barn when i rebuilt the front of my car.

Not promising anything but I'll be going for take 2. What time will everyone be meeting and what is the meeting place again?
Also is it the same route as last time? I think I still have the Tom Tom file Jon sent me last month.
Meeting 8:30 leaving 9:00 prompt.

Route is has some parts in common, but most is different.

Alright chaps.

Haven't been to a Herts meet in ages - have we moved from the George in Baldock?
Yes. Mal (RO) moved us to the Tudor Oaks just outside Baldock off the A1. We out grew The George smile

NOTE:

ROUTE IS DEFFERENT TO LAST MONTH.

I shall issue a TomTom satnav file saturday afternoon to anyone whom emails me through my profile. You must email me so i get a return address for you to attach the file to.

Some really great roads on this route. Will try to stop more often too. Just need to work out where!!

Anyone uncertain about going through a ford? linky. Was 4" deep this morning and i went through in the TVR no probs. Would expect it to be shallower tomorrow now the majority of the rain has passed. Wont go that way if anyone is uncertain. Let me know ASAP!!

This route is called "The Herts Body parts tour" hehe

fine by me bro - but then my intake is the higher up version.
It would be a go slow through the ford anyway, so the only issue is if anyone does not want to get the underside of the car wet wink or is running VERY low ground clearance eek

Thanks FBC. I've gate crashed the Essex lot often enough!! I'm sure plenty from this way would be interested in a long run around your way too. Many thanks to Mal for booking the weather smile

Fimbo. Really sorry mate. That is very unlucky. Was a great specticle watching all the TVR's going through the ford. Not good that someone had to pay the price frown Hope it's an easy fix.
