Modified TVR Meet 2010...MONSTER!

I did one of these a few years ago at Snetterton, and someone asked me the other days when I was doing it again...got me thinking..?

Its 5 years on now and things have moved on a bit. Jellys Chim was the only road LS, Phils Boss cerb was the biggest and baddest Cerb...but now there are many.

We had stands and Racers (Cainey and Googs) race cars, max power TVRs race TVRs, Toyo, Leven, TVRCarparts, TVRPower, Slomenskis cars, Media ...just about everything that was HOT was there.

COULD BE MUCH BIGGER NOW!

So who's interested?

I'm thinking Snett again, with a Trackday, Stands, Food, DVD and this time a whole weekend/overnighter.

Hi Ken,

I'd say Snett in Sept,

I'm happy to front it all and book the Track etc, but it will need paying for, especially if we do a DVD. I'll check costs for that tommorrow.

I'd hope..

£175 for entry and TD (car +2)
£10 for entry only (car +2)

Camping and all that will be available. I have a few more contacts now should should be much bigger!

Well its looking stronger today...
Some of my thoughts (but I am open to all suggestions [nice TVR ones])

Snett = very TVR friendly, big noise levels, big power cicuit, loads of room/run off.
I think I can get permission to time, so we can do st/qtrs & Terminals on the Revitt straight.

TVRs = ALL are welcome. Modified/std/young/old.
Things have moved on alot in the last 5 years, so there's much more to see.
A good chance to get together, show off, enjoy the cars.
ALL TVRs are allowed on track if they pay for the TD.

Non TVR = are welcome to bring TVR fans, but must park at the back. No track time unless TVR related
ie Robs V8 beamer, stuff with AJPs etc etc

Trade = A chance for all the modifiers/enginebuilders/trimmers to show their stuff with their customers.

Two days = Set up day for the Trade + camping/bbq/stuff for early start on TD.

I've been offered MAY BANK HOLIDAY (31st) which is a peach of a day, but it MAY be too close/too expensive. What do you think?

Totally agree with you. he may be a complete arse hole with a car that looks like a heap of st but as you say anybody who organizes an event is worth taking your hat off too

Well it turns out that TVRCC has a Trackday at Cadwell on the Tuesday.
As some of you know, I the TVRCC trackday guy until this year and I'm not about to stuff the first TD since I left, so I won't be doing the MONSTER MODIFIED Event on the BH Monday.
Its a shame 'cause it would have been a top date.

However, EZT do have this day booked, and I'll be staying over and doing the TD in anycase.

Brummie, would still like to do a report on that car of yours if possible (got a bit tied up with racing) Snetts a power circuit so if I can stay within 2-3 secs of yours I'll be happy
