Thought it might be half decent but ended up being a bit of a chore watching it.
Maybe I'm just getting old but the calibre of the new recruits didn't fill me with much confidence in our police force.

The lad called Jack,
I used to cut his hair a few years ago and always told me he was a copper, I sussed him out after a few months to find he was only a PCSO lol
Can tell he'd be an idiot to deal with.

Are they actually trained before being paired up with another copper and chucked in a car ?
Always annoying watching these type of programmes the amount of time the police have to waste going back to the same 'known addresses'. This is where (usually drunk) 'he/she punches/attacks him/her' so they arrest him/her.
Complainant then sobers up, withdraws allegation, repeat ad infinitum.

Yep, but if the old bill don't turn up and someone gets stabbed the daily mail go into overdrive and someone will start a ranty thread about it on hereAlways annoying watching these type of programmes the amount of time the police have to waste going back to the same 'known addresses'. Oh yes, agree totally. The police do just tend to be used as dumping ground for this sort of thing though, same as ambulances being sent out to pick up homeless alcoholics time and time again.Dunno what the answer is ? Maybe there's a need for a 'non-emergency service', good luck with getting funding for it though I know 101 is available for the police but what I mean is maybe there needs to be another level of service below the police for stuff like domestics etc.
Oh, and another thing (I'm on one this morning ), why in this day and age do they have to spend precious time writing an essay at a crime scene ? Why can't video & audio be used, surely it would be a lot more productive and far more informative.
And yes, I realise there is probably some legal reason for it but all the same...

Why not send pcso's the cost less to employ so the money 'wasted' would be less and if things are getting out of hand and someone needs to be arrested then they can call it inDunno what the answer is ?
