Takes me back to dinner time on a Saturday night when I was in my formative years.

Strangely compelling viewing!

"You've won the speedboat".......(Even though you live in Birmingham)

Remember.

You get nothing in this game for two in a bed"

Always puzzled me how 2 friends were going to share a 'fitted kitchen' between them?

And he used to be a math's teacher too, before he found fame....smile

Actually, I went to see his comedy act around 1980, blue doesn't even begin to cover it.....Bernard Manning and Roy Chubby Brown were like saints compared to him.

A lot of comics were like that in those days. I once attended a "blue" Bob Monkhouse evening and it was withour doubt the best live show I've ever seen. The man was a genius.

Great.Super.Smashing.

Definitely.

I remember this because I was young, and bullseye meant it was nearly time to have a bath and get ready for bed. I'd be sad because it signalled the end of the weekend and school in the morning!

Obviously mis-remembering. It was around dinner time, though, wasn't it? I'm sure I recall watching it in our kitchen on a black and white set.

Exactly, also, would they let you have ten pints before going on? That's my usual darts playing state.

I'm amazing around the 3/4 pint stage and while I rapidly go down hill from there, I'm still extremely optimistic.

If I had to guess I'd say around 5pm, possibly a touch later.
