Name some characters from TV and film that scare the living st out of you. But not cartoon characters . No Chuck Norris, No Jason, No Freddie Kruger etc. Scary normal people.

I'll start with a winner. Errol from Snatch. I would not want to meet that fker in a dark alley.

The dad from Paper House, although it's a 15 cert, this movie has stuck with me ever since....

Especially this bit whilst shouting 'Who are you, who are you' naturally with his eyes scribbled out!

Go watch it!

hardly 'normal' people though are they.

Been watching Luther recently and what makes some of the bad guys scary is their utter banality - the banality of evil indeed.

Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell

Especially from the first couple of series.

The later ones, he was a little less rapey, but still....

You really do need to watch the film, the dad is in the little girls dreams AND is then even more creepy in real life, precisely because he's normal.

However, given this is PH and having all the facts is never an option, I'll give you that I didn't read the full OP's instructions...

Therefore how about

Child snatcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Terrifying at 8 years old, still pretty scary 47 years later.

The dwarf from Don't Look Now

The Tall, Thin Man character from The Boy From Space, some educational series (Look and Read?) that we watched in middle school. It still makes my blood run cold even now.

Begbie. Similarly unhinged as the already mentioned Logan in Sexy Beast.
