I don't see DD lasting long in that fight. biggrin
Punisher could do well, but I think Power-Man and JJ have the vest shot.

I'm dubious it can do it. I think Avatar has a few runs, maybe if Endgame is rereleased next to some other MCU film, maybe.

Indeed.

The box office is so much more impressive when you remember both Avatar and Titanic were re-released several times plus Avatar had the extra 3D income going for it too
MOreso if you consider it's done it in three weeks.

I'm not too ashamed to admit I added it to my run playlist recently and when it comes on a little bit of, ok all of me, thinks I'm Thor. I shout get out of the way morons when I run past people.
A lot of my fave run songs are from soundtracks. My playlist for the Manchester 10k tomorrow has..three songs I think, from GotG2.
I am actually looking now to see if there are any from Endgame that can give me that extra boost. The official CD thought seems to be instrumental

Not sure if anyone's mentioned it, but a perfect comparison would be 'Kill Bill vol2'

You'd be struggling if you just watched that without seeing vol1.
Back to the Future THree, Godfather 3, Matrix 3, all good examples too.

But this is only one season.

One season and you watched the last EPISODE only.

And it’s not even a standalone film it’s the second half of the previous one!

You watched half an episode of a season laugh
Good example. THe INfinity Stones saga is an overiding arc that has three series. Phase 1,2 and 3 is series 1-3. THe last soopah doopah episode is split into two; Infinity War and Endgame.

First and foremost it's the second part of a two part film so you'd needed to have seen the first part, Infinity War at the VERY least. They should have really called it Endgame: Infinity War Part 2 or something tbh but I guess they wanted to catch out some suckers like you to go and pay to watch it wink
The original title was, Infinity Gauntlet

I can see it getting another release. Russos have been pushing multiple viewings for various reasons (whilst not mentioning the box office once) on insta/twiter. They've had some fairly amusing posts. They know their close. And next year MCU has only one film out.
I reckon an IW/EG double bill, and maybe a tweaked scene.

I can't recall now but I think the original schedule was for GotG3 to be next year but the thing over Gunn has now delayed that. MCU have been doing three a year for a while and with only BW out next year...possibly Eternals. My thinking was that a possible release double bill would be worked in. BUt then it depends on what Disney want, and their sheet is crowded as it is.

I'd like to experience that before I read it, so I'll probably end up watching spidey at the flicks...dammit, this spoiler thing has pout an end to my watching a film 2 weeks after it's out.

The signatures were a nice send off. Bit like Star Trek 6.
But I wouldn't make any bets on any of the characters not coming back, just look at the source material.
RDJ hadn't had a contract since the early days, he did film to film, hence his yuge bill. I wouldn't even bet against Stark making some sort of appearance, but not for a while. Having said that the comics are nuts and repetitive. Feig won't want to rubbish his own legacy with trite moves.
Also, some of the players (not RDJ) don't have much outside of the MCU.
I reckon it'll come down to how well Dr Strange 2 does, that seems to be the real set-up for true cosmic comic craziness.
