Very strong bunch tonight, Vinny especially pulled it out of the bag and really stepped it up a level I thought. It's a shame Kit had to go as I think he was a better chef than anyone from last weeks group.

Vinny's fish looked lovely. What the hell has he done to his ears though?

Well *spreads arms out in a don't know gesture* for some reason, he seems to have taken the ear-plugs/rings/whatever out and left now with the gaping holes they once inhabited. Perhaps told to do so my the producer? Whatever, it does look a tad strange to say the least.

Useful to hang kitchen utensils from though.

Indeed. hehe I wonder if he used the off-cuts/cut-outs as a little garnish?

No great howlers tonight, and Vinny'a stuff looked great. Shame Kit had to go but it's been a very strong session tonight.

yes Way out of his depth. He should go for the skills test alone!

So the lad says after making a bit of a mess and defending his actions to do "his take", Me and Michelle are too different chefs in a very condescending manner and actually a bit rude.... yeah but only one of you is a very respected grand master of cook fu who is one of the worlds best, guess what sunbeam , it aint you.

Yes, I did think that was ridiculous. Talk about clutching at straws to try and save face, I'm sure when MRJ watches it he will realise how wrong he was and rethink his entire cooking knowledge-base because that one guy said they were "two different chefs". rolleyes

Sean was clearly out of his depth last night, but it did strike me as odd that in the classical dish the 3 blokes didn't serve a sauce, and then Maria served up too much sauce. What was going on in theirs heads while doing that?

Exactly my thoughts.
