I watched it last night. It was OK. I don't think they're ever going to recreate the same buzz as series 1-6.

It was ok, however simulants would never have that kind of banter, even if they had broken their programming!

My expectations were low, and they were fully realised.

Should have stopped at series 6.

Looks like a new series starts Thursday 12 Oct on Dave. Season 12.

Usual cast, starts at 21:00

Anything past the end of the original Grant Naylor partnership has been diminishing returns. It sounds like we have finally reached zero.

Apart from the guitar playing which I thought Lister could not play? Seems to have forgotten that. That was a dire bit and the end was predicted but OK. Shame it's CGI rather than models.

I give it 7.

Dire was also how I described the episode to a friend. They need to leave classics like this well alone

First thing the mrs said with his guitar playing was he can’t play. To be fair it was quite bad playing.

I found it light hearted there has been worse episodes. I’d also give it a 7.

I thought it was the best of the Dave produced bunch so far.

i like it, not brilliant as season 5, but still enjoyable.

I'm glad this is still on.

Watched the first episode last night. Whilst not on par with the classic series, it was better than most of the previous Dave commissioned ones.

Was a bit amusing in parts but its shocking how quick they finish up at the end. Are the budgets that low that they cant leave the camera running for a few more minutes?

Yep - the end was a bit jarring.
