Wheeler Dealers 2014/2015 - New Series
Discussion
for some of the pony cars they've used metric since, at least, the mid-80s. You could have a Mustang 5.0, or a Trans-Am 5.7 (though was confusingly also sold as a 350)... guess it's just whatever sounds cool. TBH though I'd not want to have 6.5 litre on a GTO, IMO just wouldn't look right

The only thing I would say about them doing a USA show based in the USA with a workshop in the USA is that they are now in direct competition with Fast n Loud. How long before Mike Brewer visits Gas Monkey Garage and invites Richard Rawlings to "owt ahhht yer aaaand" over a car?
I saw on twitter last year that that Mike had gone to visit Richard Rawlings - there was a picture of them together. I suspect Gas Monkey and Discovery Channel are involved.ETA: googled and found this from facebook https://www.facebook.com/RRRawlings/photos/a.25801...

Blimey. There's not a lot of love for Mike Brewer on the comments is there! JonRB said:

Some of those comments are a little OTT.
Indeed. Given how the mainstream media reported ono a comment that was posted here on PH a number of years ago about that delightful lady from BRAKE, some could be seen as being death threats. Not that the aforementioned delightful lady is an expert at manipulating the media or anything. Smollet said:

Seems to be the normal reaction by some people who can't accept it's just a bit of fun and entertainment. JonRB said:

Just google for "pistonheads death threat brake" without the quotes. Of course, the most recent hit will be this comment so try not to go round in circles.

Pontiac stole the GTO badge from Ferrari and were aiming to have a little European cachet around their wide track handling so that may be why they chose to do so.JonRB said:
