Octopus Energy radio adverts. mad

Terrible voiceover woman, very strange customer messages, utterly bizarre advert!
I'm an Octopus customer and it makes me feel like moving to another supplier.

Domino's. "Feast like a Don".

"Feast like a Dom" would be a better fit, but I doubt that the ASA would approve. There's nothing like exercise (such as whipping people) to build up an appetite.

I like it that one of them is 'you know' Peter Beardsley 'you know' from Athletico Mince, 'you know'....gets me every time, listen closely next time, he pops up less frequently now they've 'you know' realised who he is like.

I haven't had - or watched - a TV in about a decade. But there are still the radio adverts:

Text Gold = that annoying chirpy and his up-and-down-octaves-voice. 'Bwoken gold.....' fk off.

Octopus energy. The loud fucchhin scouse woman, and best of all for WTAF? comedy value , the monotone retard bloke 'I really honestly truly believe...' You can fk off as well.

Dunelm ads where some bint is badly singing some contrived bullst to 'You're the one that I want' (Grease). Jesus!!

YouTube adverts. The inevitable black man/white woman stuff is now just so risible. If they're they are that desperate to sell stuff, I ain't buying. fk off. I really need to pay for YouTube premium to avoid it all.

Adverts used to be pretty good - the Pot Noodle advert from 15 odd years ago where Welsh miners were mining for noo-dels was just genius. Now of course that would be wacist. laugh

Totally agree. I like Dawn French but that voice is just so patronising and smug. Why can't you do the advert in your normal (nice!) voice?

Wren kitchens, 60% off and up to 7 years free credit.

Have you tried dropping the price? Possibly make more sales that way.

Mentioned that a few pages back on this thread. Did no one in the ad agency even take history at school?

There was another recent advert that used the same music.

ETA, it was an advert for Gousto.

Not likely and at the moment its all about the unsubtle crowbarring every single section of society into each advert, then you look at the board of directors and diversity doesn't apparently extend that far up.
