Maybe because he's just getting on with it and not complaining. They're just giving all the others their 5 minutes to cry on camera first before they quit.
I’m sure it’s more than that....everyone has a story, everyone has a weakness. He’s says NOTHING not even words of support to the others.!Lordbenny said:

I’m sure it’s more than that....everyone has a story, everyone has a weakness. He’s says NOTHING not even words of support to the others.!I agree re Cracknell and lack of airtime. In previous episodes, it is not uncommon to hardly notice folk who appear to come to the fore in later stages; i.e., the early leavers are focussed on initially and then the 'finalists' get much more time when there is a small group of them.
It does allow you to wonder who and when the winner/s will appear!
Watching last night I was surprised that the Geordie girl - Vicky P - walked at that stage. Her 'I don't want to hold him back' mantra was shown to be rather weak when it was pointed out that leaving on his own with the drum wasn't exactly making things easier for him
ps - How was Saira Khan's ankle 'life changing'??

A severe ankle fracture can certainly be life changing for quite a while, recovering from a bad Trimalleolar could be a year or more, at least 6 months is common.
I don't know what she's actually done mind but fractures can vary massively.

I strongly believe he will be one of the last ones standing. He has incredible fitness still and his mental strength is legendary. So I suspect its been edited to focus on the others and in later episodes we see a lot more of him. I dont think hes a particularly loud and out going person anyway so he wont be saying much compared to some gobby reality TV star who thinks they have talk a load of bks to be relevant,
+1.
There could be a valid point on Cracknell not being the best team player but my money is on him. He will not give in and hes doing exactly what the DS & SF community want, be the grey man, always there but never seen. His mental strength and determination will see it through and to be honest this snapshot of selection will not be the hardest thing hes ever done. (the full course would be a different issue)
Id be amazed if he's not there at the end.

Cracknell still making it look easy, still only said about three words in the entire process so far.
I'm almost certain Crackers is going to win. Nothing has challenged him at all so far, physically or mentally. Bear in mind this is a man who 6 months after a life changing brain injury took part in the Yukon Arctic Ultra, a 430 mile race through the Yukon region. He came 2nd. Mostly because he neurosurgeon said he had to sleep for 6 hours. Slaav said:

Cracknell and Aled don't have to prove anything to anyone, which I think is an advantage.
To play the other side of that coin….. they are also proven achievers so don’t ‘need’ to prove anything. They just ‘can’t’ come second. It’s why they achieve?Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
