Odeon has trolled all the geeks?

I can just imagine its like the scene from Big Bang theory where everyone is hitting refresh at the same time to get tickets for comic con laugh

Out of interest, 2D or 3D? Vast majority of screens being used for 3D by the looks of things.

It didn't say when I booked at Vue, just 4 midnight screenings, I assume maybe 2D. Bloody hope so.

Don't think cineworld is selling yet either.

IMAX 3D Odeon Uxbridge for 0001 on 17th just booked. Premier seats, just off centre.

I'm happy as I've just rolled out of bed and booked.

Not many Premier seats left, imagine all gone very soon.

Excited!!

90 minutes of trying to book on Odeon website and getting to the point of trying to get seat upgrades when it kept crashing.

Took to twitter to see what everyone else was saying. One tweet suggested using the Odeon app.

Downloaded and bought tickets in 2 minutes.

From what the app showed, by 9:30 this morning, they had only managed to sell 5 seats online for the 20:30 showing on Thursday night.

Bonkers, really.

Apparently, UK release date is now the 17th, instead of the 18th.

France gets it first though on the 16th.
Belgium here, got an invite for a morning showing at 10 o'clock. Not taking a day off to watch star wars though biggrin.

Odeon app is definitely the way forward for Odeon tickets. After 50 minutes trying on the website I got tickets on the app instantly.

Ironically, only 5 tickets sold at 7:30pm on Friday 18th (2D), after all that.

Got my ticket off cineworld website this morning. Absolutely no bother at all.
00:05 on the 17th (not sure what I was thinking) will have to plan a quiet day.

Just booked my tickets - as above, no joy on Odeon website but the transaction went straight through on the app, 2 mins from downloading it to getting the confirmation in my inbox.

Went for lunchtime tickets at the iMax in Kingston on the 17th. Can't wait! Last time I was this excited about a film it was for Episode 1... I hope this works out better!

Same Odeon problems here, never considered the app! D'oh!

Local is Cineworld but it wasn't showing there online for some reason, so might as well go to the Odeon, as its not that far.

Booked for the 00.01 showing Thursday morning - not many films i'll even bother to see in the cinema nowadays, let alone a midnight screening...but this is special!

Interesting to see the new poster:

Even more interesting......

Unless I have missed something - Luke is notable by his absence! The new lead characters as well as Han, Leia and Chewy all feature prominently - yet no Luke. Seems a little odd.

discussed a page back, but I've had more time to think about it.

Perhaps he's going to look different to what we expect and that's going to be the big shock moment for Ep7? As someone else said it looks like he's going to be using an obvious robotic hand rather than the outwardly normal looking one in the earlier films.

So many rumours and 'leaks' associated with this film though.

Also - DEATHSTAR!

Is that not Luke in the orange flightsuit then? Perhaps his robes had gotten mixed with some colours in the wash and come out pink.
