Personally i think Ben Affleck has matured into a better actor since he started making his own films, in The Town and Argo he was actually pretty good

The man is more wooden than a timber yard, his brooding act makes him look thick. He was the same in the film where he was a stunt driver. At least that film had a great soundtrack.

I don't really mind Affleck as Batman, I'm willing to see how it goes anyway. I'm watching Red, and as another suggestion for Batman that's not going to happen now... Karl Urban.

The way I see it MOS was carried largely by the two actors who played the dads. There needs to be a strong actor to carry the next film. Not sure if Afleck is the man, but he does have history and he could pull it off. Batman is going to have to be very intense to play well against an onscreen god.
