What if a low-impact bullet hit you in the eye?
Seems like a bit of a flawed plot-point.
If you knew all the robots only had spud guns you'd remove the excitement for those visitors who really wanted to live out their wildest fantasies.Seems like a bit of a flawed plot-point.
I thought it was excellent, can't wait for the next episode.
Even my wife liked it and she hates scifi.

This article is pretty interesting http://www.slashfilm.com/westworld-logistical-ques..., it seems they've thought about most things even if they're never going to mention how they work in the series itself. But basically, an extensive contract/release form before entering the park as obviously it's not risk free.Seems like a bit of a flawed plot-point.
On another note entirely, I found the dialogue pretty hard to hear at times and I never normally have an issue with that. Tried it through the TV, the Home Theatre and my iPad and it seemed equally bad on all 3.

What's the 'thing' with the flies - or is it just a coincidence (surely not)?
It was a way of showing who the androids were and that they couldn't kill any living thing.Ed Harris - possibly a disgruntled employee/guest?
There seemed to be lots of subtext being spoken - like others have mentioned it seemed to be mildly garbled, probably on purpose... A lot of double/triple meanings to a lot of things being said - well worth a second viewing (and possibly third!). And then the 'bigger picture' chat... potential bombshell right there!
Red door? Paint it black!
I watched the original movie - there is a lot of homages to it in the series. But then quite a few differences as well (obviously).

Standard HBO. Even now, after many viewings, I still see new stuff in the Sopranos.ukaskew said:
I was going to switch subtitles on for a second viewing but couldn't access them via Sky Go. Will try again tonight through the Sky box itself.
My daughter always switches on sub titles for what ever series she is watching. Used to annoy me until I realised how much more I got out of any scene with a lot of dialogue.Flip Martian said:

Programmer:have you ever lied? Delores:no! That scene gave me goosebumps and that end scene with her and the fly!! :-)
Yeah I was the same - a real "woah! Uh oh!" moment. Perfect. Filmed using the same set as Deadwood, Django Unchained the new Magnificent Seven and others - https://www.inverse.com/article/21830-design-of-we...
Heads up folks - HBO have released episode 2 early on HBO Go, etc. It's available now from the usual places.
