Great! Looking forward to that. I don't think I've seen Lou Sanders in anything before, but I am aware of the others.

Paul Sinha, only recently discovered he's a comic as well as a Chaser

And he's a GP too (or used to be anyway)

Not sure i recognise a single name off that list. Let's hope we don't get a repeat of the disaster series before last, Tarbuck, Alice Levine, and the other forgetfuls.

you might know their faces not their names?

Joe Thomas was Simon in the Inbetweeners.

Paul Sinha is one of the Chaser on ITV's The Chase

Ian Stirling is a stand up and also does voice over work (most notably Love Island!) -

Sian Gibson is a comedian/writer and was seen next to Peter Kay in Car Share

Lou Sanders, I looked her up but I don't think I've seen her before on anything

Likewise, but it will probably still be better than most stuff on telly...

Lou Sanders has been on 8 out of 10 cats does countdown and Hypothetical (although can't say I'm a huge fan of that show), she's pretty funny though. Think this series has potential IMO.

I always thought they should do a Champion of Losers series to compliment the Champion of Champions, with the lowest scoring contestants from each series. Potential for it to get really silly.

Back to the upcoming series, I don’t really know them but judging by comments here so far it does have the potential to be good.

She was on The Unbelievable Truth on R4 this evening, and she's been on As Yet Untitled with Alan Davies once or twice too.

I thought the puppet thing was hilarious, especially when the scottish guy kicked off about it.

It's certainly not peak Taskmaster standard but I found it enjoyable enough - Joe Thomas is clearly struggling to find his place in the world as "not Simon from the Inbetweeners any more despite playing the character of Simon from the Inbetweeners in both White Gold and Fresh Meat) - a new hair cut might help.

Iain Stirling was as expected, Lou Sanders is someone I didn't know previously but seems amusing, Paul Sinha was nothing like I expected and Sian Gibson was someone I judged badly just because she sat next to Peter Kay but again she seems alright.

I think it'll work out OK and ultimately it's better than watching repeats of Would I Lie to You for the 8th time.

Not a classic episode, but hopefully they're still just settling in and developing the chemistry between the new contestants.
