Yes, it’s on Instagram. It’s on his stories so is only available for 24hrs - there are no comments on Instagram stories.

To be fair it would make sense for him to send a message out to all and sundry that he doesn't buy flipped SHXXMEE plates so if you're tempted to buy one in hopes of a quick profit don't bother because you'll be stuck with it.

Worth a bit of kickback to get that message out. Presumably TGE has similar issues with guys trying to flip TGE plates to him.

Opened up YouTube this morning and it’s filled with first drives of the new 812. But it’s all from the more old skool media evo, autocar, pistonheads.

But nothing from any of the vloggers

Has the tide changed from influencer marketing and they were not invited? Or did they not want to go? (I know STG has mentioned that he try’s to avoid these launches as he can’t create unique content)

I agree. I'm no car expert but I watch quite a bit of content and would like to think I've heard of most cars but I've never heard of Zenvo. I'd always thought that his following liked the brands people have heard of such as Mclaren, Ford, Aston, Mercedes, Lambo. Definitely an odd choice which must have a financial safety net attached.

He certainly has a point. Whenever I see a batch of similar videos all launched the minute the embargo ends I can't be bothered to watch any of them.

A fair point in isolation but in that case it makes no sense to get the message out via a medium which only preserves it for 24 hours.

It reads as if, like most people who use SM for long enough, he's been wound up by someone and wanted to get a jab in at the person who has touched the nerve.

Im sure he said in an interview previously that its not just about buying a hyper car, the issues also come from just looking after it. Due to the value / rarity of the car the insurance costs rocket, you need to beef up the security on storing the car, plus then there is the risk of driving it on the road and being in an accident.

Those additional challenges meant thats why he didn't go for a P1. I might be getting that wrong though.

I wonder what they see as the benefit of their car (with a gimmicky wing) being driven by a cockwomble though? Added to which, is there enough room to squeeze his ego in? Unless they're planning a Cockwomble Edition like Aston and the JWW?

Yeah i must admit i was curious and watched his video about how and why he is buying a Zenvo and it did sound like a massive PR exercise. Car in Left hand drive, hitting all the crème de la crème car events around the world, lots of PR from Zenvo about Shmee buying one! It just stunk of a brand ambassador deal. He did say he was putting his own money in which i can't imagine being at full retail price. Unless he has a brand deal where he gets x% of every Zenvo sold when customers use the discount code Shmee at checkout....
