Quite enjoying this. I like the way the animators have still got the characters walking like they're puppets![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
Noticed that, nice touch. Plus the way the ships fly along like they're models on strings too. ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
Still, it's nice they've kept the little touches like the palm trees which fold back on Thunderbird 2's runway. Even though they've now given TB2 fold-up wings so it fits down there anyway.
Bilge.
It's alright. Quite a pleasant way to spend a Saturday tea time.
Tbf though, it's 40 years since I used to watch the original as a kid and if it was shown for the fist time tonight, I'd probably feel similar as I do about the new one.
I'm not really in their target audience but it's nice they haven't completely forgotten me either.

Rather than pick holes in it, which you can do to any show, I sat back and enjoyed it.

This - just this.![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
The grass is always greener when it comes to reboots of our childhood favourites.
The people involved in making it - did a pretty good job.
The homage to the Eagle (Space 1999 ) - as mentioned earlier
Parker not wearing glasses - and having his eyes last tested in the 70's.
The mixture of CGI - and miniatures
Let's be honest - puppets on strings isn't going to fire the imagination of today's children.
This is a bloody good attempt at bridging the grandfather- grandson or father-son Saturday TV viewing.
Hats off.
I didn't stick with it. But hey, it's a kids show and hopefully there's enough in there to grab the kids. The only thing that disappointed me was the soundtrack which was a real standout on the original, they had everything else pretty good but it did lack the orchestral score of the original.

Totally untrue. My kids watch the old Watch with Mother episodes on You Tube (Bill and Ben and The Herbs and Andy Pandy), in both colour and black and white and are riveted. They also watch the surreal stuff on Cartoon Network. Kids drink everything in.What they don't watch is modern Andy Pandy, Bill and Ben and Postman pat.
Recorded it but will watch it later. Watched the documentary with Reggie Yates and so far I don't like the style they've used with the characters faces at all, nor Rosamund Pikes voice either. Her voice is more manly than the characters faces - why?
Joe 90 was more masculine than these.

I wasn't very impressed with it if I'm honest but it is the 'set the scener' so that may have something to do with it.
There was far too much going on aswell but that may have just been to show what an utterly naughty person the hood is.
I'll watch it again and hope it settles into itself.

It moves along much quicker than the original , sat through it with my 5 yr old Grandson, who has been so excited by it, all week .
We both enjoyed it ,but he kept asking how scary the hood was. agree more of the music to make the hairs stand up on the neck,
I felt this it just felt far too rushed. I was really interested seeing how much model building they had done but then ruined it with the CGI and going all postman pat special delivery on it. I'm surprised no one was in a wheelchair to tick that box. We both enjoyed it ,but he kept asking how scary the hood was. agree more of the music to make the hairs stand up on the neck,
