Seemingly incessant bombardment from the new football season coverage / Sky Sports TV advert. Sick of the music and doubly sick of the advert culminating in some player (you can tell I'm not their key demographic), spouting the line 'What more could you ask for?' with a wink before running out of the tunnel, delivered with all the charisma of a scouring pad.

Can't remember which brand of car it was (Hyundai?), anyway some white goods car with kids in it pretending to go vroom all whilst saying they're going electric to protect the future yadda yadda. Well if the cars were electric, then they wouldn't make vroom vroom noises...

"It's a shame I can't get the new iPhone on the network I want..."
"Who says you can't?"

You, Kevin. You do. Your very next sentence says it.

I'm a bit concerned about the Dominos Pizza advert that has a female hand slap away a male hand over a pizza slice. It's 2019, I want to see women's equality. Why wasn't the woman's hand slapped away by the males? You notice that in other adverts, the pudgy dad always gets slagged off and hurt. Why not the woman? I'm offended.

Audi SUV advert with the car transporter "give them an inch they'll take a mile"... no they won't but the stereotypical driver probably will. Also I highly doubt that a Q-series could do the work that they are shown doing, a Land Rover I could believe but not an Audi.

TBH, the first time I saw this ad, I thought she was having some sort of fit at the start.

I don't hate the Vodafone one but if I see it too many more times I worry it will make me start hating that Mark Ronson & Alicia Keys track

New Barclays adverts:

One with a woman walking around a swimming pool using the app to keep a track of her money to stop it "hiding" from her because it's hard to do that when you have 2 children and a mother to look after.

Next one with a younger woman talking about her family setting her up with a mortgage to get on the property ladder. Advert sells her as an entrepeneur working all hours that gets home really early in a morning and proceeds to turn on her massive stereo system and blare out some music. If that were real, i'm sure her new neighbours would just love that rolleyes

It isn't anything to do with what they are advertising. There is something about the look on her face and the way she dances that makes me cringe. As I watch it, I almost feel embarrassed for her.

That fking Trivento wine ad you always see on Quest or the Discovery Channel. It features a bunch of gay guys at a dinner party, recounting their extreme adventure experiences e.g. when one of them rolled an egg down a hill, slipped on a turd, almost died, but got away with it, and lived to tell the tale at this awful dinner party. Utter ste!

Sounds thrilling. I’ve watched films with less going on.
