He just seems totally unaffected.

At the end of the interview he said he hadn't heard about her death until the police arrived. However, he said he had written it down and hadn't added it to his weirdo blog yet which he was preparing as the police arrived.

He's unnerving the police and the woman who conducted the metal health assessment.

I took that to mean before they arrived (the second time) to arrest him. His laptop was open on that occasion and the police mentioned the weirdo blog was on the screen.

I’m betting on suicide/cry for help. He is very weird but there’s nothing to suggest he did it at all.

However implausible it looks like this is what happened.

That was a good watch. Very sad at the same time.

Hard to believe she was only 46. The alcohol abuse had clearly hit her hard.

Does everyone filmed at the police station have to consent to be shown on tv?

I'm surprised at some of the footage than goes out. I'd also would have thought Dean could have done with a new start after moving away.

I used to “know” a girl with mental health issues. Plenty of times she’d slice herself up after a barny. I found a razor blade in her purse once that she carried around just in case she felt the need to cut herself. Couple that with alcohol addiction and I could easily imagine her doing something similar to her throat.

Completely and utterly tragic in every way.

Never going to happen but he could have done with an apology from her family who threw around all sorts of accusations (drugging/violence) which were shown to be false and all while they played little part in her life at that time.

While I don't doubt he physically had nothing to do with her death, I do wonder how much his "care" was helping her, it didn't seem like a healthy environment for either of them.

As they said at the end, a toxic relationship.
