The Top Gear T50 video today was class. I could just feel his excitement. What a car, so much want. I never watch anything twice but with this I will make an exception. The engine noise at high revs is genuinely 'epic' in the real meaning of the word rather than the usual YouTube hyperbole.
I like how it's F1 DNA is obvious and how understated it looks. The fan on the rear however, just looks awful. Subjective I know. It's a shame we won't see them race or develop a long tail version as they did with the F1. I was working in the Formula Opel Euroseries when the F1's raced and they were simply awesome to see, but especially hear at full chat. The Zenvo however, looks like something you might see in an Adam C video, based on an MR2.
it reminds me of the joker clown car lmao

I've seen the Zenvo and it's no better in the flesh. Couldn't get more of an opposite of the T50 in terms of class.

Only other hyper car I am seeing that interests as much as the T.50 is the Koenigsegg Jesko. A 4 seat car with a 1,600hp engine is a great but mad idea. The tech is staggering and the videos are nicely put together;

The Jesko is the 2-seat bonkers thing. The 4-seater is the Gemera.

That T50 is a thing of wonder, I just adore it despite it looking a bit iffy and the central driving position no doubt being a PITA to actually live with.

That drivetrain deserves to live on!

I almost feel like I need a parrot, I take it that's not a Zenvo then.

I was scrolling through my subs list and saw James' 296 review and clicked to watch it but lost interest as soon as I saw it was around 43 mins long. I have no doubt it was a great review but I only had a 15 min gap between meetings to watch something

Yep. Sorry chief, stretching that out to three quarters of an hour is self indulgent twoddle.

Watch the full video - that's one of the very interesting points.

it's an Infiniti G35C with a Vaydor body kit. Says a lot about the Zenvo tbh

Videos are never, ever shot/edited to be a specific length, as simple as that. The 296 review like all new cars features a standing by the car segment, and a driving segment. There are chapter titles to help people find the bit they want.

The driving segment is similar in length to the normal reviews that I do - and although you would think everybody knows what a 296 is by now I would hate to assume.

Justify it all you want, but looking through YT the majority of 296GTB reviews are 15-22 mins long. The longest I found other than yours is 31mins and that was theCarGuys who doesn’t half go on a bit.

Hell, I couldn’t find another of your vids over 25mins long until I got bored scrolling.

So I think if you don’t do anything to regulate your length, maybe you should? I’m not sure why you thought you had so much more to say than everyone else.

I’m a subscriber and a fan of yours, but the simple fact that this was 43mins long meant I didn’t watch this review, and I’m clearly not the only one. Feel free to ignore my input though, I’m just a faceless bit of text on a screen.

For someone who seems quite keen to leap to the defence in the face of any criticism of YT'ers who you like, you're not half vocal about the ones you don't like.

This is a thread for discussion of YouTubers isn’t it? I discuss who I like and who I don’t. You seem to do just the same.

Your post comes across as rude and entitled.

You spent more time clicking around all those other videos for your ‘research’, and composing your post on here, than it would take to just skip the video in question and keep your opinions to yourself.

Go and spend your time doing something more positive - try making a consistently popular YouTube channel yourself.

So we can’t give feedback? You don’t understand the word discussion. Or can we only be positive? No, because then you same people will complain that we’re fawning. Get a grip, Jay is a big boy, he can handle a bit of criticism and feedback.
