I've probably mentioned it before but I went on a training day run by some ex SAS/SBS. We met in a car park in Wales. As I drove in there was a group of people, some in army gear. But it was instantly clear who the ex SAS guy was. Wasn't huge, tall, thin athletic build, but something in the way he stood and looked he just looked proper fking hard, but in a low key way. Was a really nice chap.
I guess it can be similar to many successful or ‘loaded’ folk? Those that have (or know/feel they have) nothing to prove behave as you would expect….
Those others try a bit too hard?

New celebrity series starts tonight, 9pm.
Not sure I can face it. Gave up on the last normal season because the new instructors were tts.Might give it a try as can't find anything else.
Respect that they’re special forces and not something I could ever achieve but the US instructors just come across as gobstes.

Fatima Whitbread is the only one I recognise, Rudy has got lovely hair, I wonder if he's ever walked passed a mirror and not checked himself out.
+1. There was a shot with Rudy in the backgroud and the wind kept blowing his locks in his face and he was doing the L'oreal head toss to get it out of his face I'm sure he is angling for a Head 'n shoulders gig.Wasn't keeping count but how many reality TV mugs? Celebrities my arse!

Did Billy take part in the milling?! His face looked battered towards the end of the episode after the recruits had been scrapping.
Noticed that too, looked like he had quite a big graze near his eye.The female boxer's reaction was very surprising. Really wasn't expecting her to refuse to fight. If she was concerned about hurting someone she could have just controlled her punches.
From what I gather, milling is nothing to do with boxing so she should have been bked for trying to bob and weave like she did.

Exactly. It's all about controlled aggression. Maximum effort, regardless of pain and consequences, until ordered to stop - then STOP. Then, maybe, start again.
Car analogy - F1 - 100% on the track, into the pits, back to 100% on the track.

Enjoying this series- love the change in scenery and actually like the new DS's. Think I'm just leased it moved from Scotland.
No doubt, Billy is the one that is hardest there.
Yeah I've got into it now, much better now Angry Keanu has toned it down. Think it was defo ready for a change of scenery. No doubt, Billy is the one that is hardest there.
Think Billy's only about 6-7 years older than Foxy and Rudy (both 50 apparently). According to info online, he had the longest SF career by far.
