Good little theory circling that Lisa is DCI Gates & Jackie's lovechild, it would only work out if they'd been having an affair for years before S1 though
I'm sure its mentioned in S1 that they've been on/off for years...1989/1990 rings a bell, which would tie in with the theory.
Maybe she gave Lisa up as a baby as she was too young to look after her or something. I'm guessing Ted's losses will be put down to Jackie too, and he'll get framed for murder. I'm gonna end up in a crazy theory wormhole by next Sunday

Going off an a tangent here, but this is a car forum after all. Has anyone noticed the Reg numbers on the cars in the show? There seem to be lots of Q's & I's on the numberplates. I don't think I've ever seen those letters on cars before.
I think that this was asked and answered earlier on, can’t recall the reason for the Qs, but it made sense, even to someone like myself, who is about as far removed from being a car enthusiast as you can get.Apparently LOD is/was filmed in Northern Ireland, where I is in common use on number plates.

Do we reckon Ted is setting himself up? Maybe framing himself and seeing who, up the chain (the 'real' H) is keen to put him away for it. No way would he just leave the cash in his own hotel room or even go rogue doing his own thing like in yesterdays episode.
Yeah, definitely (pun intended) trying to smoke someone out. My guess is that next week’s episode will end with Hastings being sent down in court and Steve et al uncovering evidence that he was (“probably”, it’s LoD after all) set up. I also wonder if ac-12 will be wound up and maybe integrated into ac-3.
Next and final series will involve former ac-12 exonerating Hastings whilst also uncovering the real H.

The actor (Copper) who had his throat cut played Billy Bremner in "The Damned United", I've just noticed.

I am surprised that no one has spotted the probable connection with Captain Arthur Hastings, Hercule Poirot's side kick. He could be related to Ted Hastings, or 'H'? Have you considered that?
He served in the army and has helped solve many baffling criminal cases.

There is definately more to this than meets the eye....

Stephen Graham has done loads. Cheeky cockney in Snatch -Tommy, and psychopathic skin head - Combo in this is England , not to mention boardwalk empire. He is a very versatile and brilliant actor imo. Was sad when he was killed off in this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYBj_qAJtRA

At least he went the distance, I really like Daniel Mays, but he lasted about two episodes in S3.The Mad Monk said:

I've wondered whether the '12' in AC-12 meant there were at least 11 other units doing anti-corruption that they never seemed to mention, unless there's been a passing reference in a previous series, a bit like when there's the odd mention of another 00-prefix in a Bond film. And are the other AC-sections in different towns and bussed in for the interviews, or is that one place so bent it needs a minimum of 12 all to itself?
