Sorry I haven’t read every reply, was this his first offence? Only his father or father-in-law described him as a bit of a hothead?

Got the ch5 programme on record.

Parole on BBC2 is worth a watch so far. Episode 1 of 5.

Two criminals at their parole hearings.

A murderer and a fraudster this evening.
Parole was very good, well worth searching out on iPlayer.

Indeed.

Tough job. They did however, reach the same decisions I would have done. Just.
I'd love to add to this, but I'll give others a day or 2 to view it, as I don't know how to hide a spoiler smile

Fair play wink. Look here and preview to make sure it works: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/formatting.htm

It's not something I have thought a lot about before, but I didn't realise how long these parole hearings were - they were effectively most of a day.

That time must add up over all of the people up for parole. It's a lot of resource. Good they get a fair shot mind you.

Tough decisions the parole board(s) have to make.

We've only got the info that was shared - 30 mins out of the day and not all the background - but it seemed fair that con-man didn't get released. Even though he was so close to the end of his sentence - he was released this month. Hard to see him changing his ways esp. given his recent foreign jaunt and the info the psychologist pulled out at the end of the programme which somewhat changed the context of his version of events.

The other guy - I'm not so sure about. Has he got his anger under control? Such a hard decision the board had to make.
I think the young psychologist in the Coombs case is in the wrong job…

Where do they get deisgner gear in prison?

The murderer guy had cold dead eyes, not convinced he won't beat someone again, I mean pool balls in the sock!

I will not be wearing lacost or boss stuff seems to be the brands of toe rags!
Removed his own sock, loaded it with snooker balls to beat the guy to death...

He'll back in, they're not the spots a Leopard can change.

Swapped over from Bronson.
I’m watching Parole, recording the other 2, is the Bronson one no good, predictable?

Just to let you know, there's a program on BBC1 at 9pm about the police operation into 'The Gold' Brinks Matt robbery, I'll be recording it, obviously.

All 4 are guilty, not sure it'll be a murder verdict though, hope the girls get as long as the men.

Is part 2 on tonight?

I looked into buying an expensive parka, but they are much too warm for our weather, I'd probably only get to wear it 3 or for times a year!

Haven't put too much thought into how many uses I'd get from the door opener... yet!

Reasonable result too I guess…

There was a Youtube link, not sure if it's in this thread somewhere, where an American lawyer explained why you should always go 'no comment'! He went on to explaine how, in some cases, people who had given witness statements were convicticed of said crime, simply because the police had used 'words' they had said as evidence against them.

You say " to be undertaking that kind of venture and not even demonstrating the most basic attempt to conceal your identity is incredibly stupid,"
one had his hood up, mask on and looked down as he passed the camera, then they went and cleaned the car. Even the police woman said they must be forensically aware as they used their shoulders to open the door, not their hands.
Everybody knows not to leave fingerprints etc, I actually chuckled a bit when she said that. Only a moron, or someone off their tits would wear a rare item of clothing during a premeditated crime.
