Hate it. Can't stand her. He's 20 years too old to be saying 'like' in the middle of all his sentences.

One of the rare episodes of Grand Designs where I did not like any single element of the build or design. The woman is very cringe inducing as well.

Dunno, can't imagine them wanting a kid if they want to live in that environment.

Impressive bangers though.

That's exactly what I thought. Judging by the shed he's building, I'd imagine he couldn't get away quick enough from that pair of self regarding pillocks.

I wonder how that will look in ten years.

Thing is, you want a calm zen spot to relax then fair enough but why the hell build it there? In surburban London? Towering over everyone!

Again, how on earth did they get planning!?

£550k I think they would get the money back, may take a while to find the right buyer but houses in London are silly money!

Joined late. Did not see the build process.

That is a truly awful building, ugly and so out of place from the outside and like living in a minimalist portacabin inside. Ugh.

As the camera panned out with a couple of minutes to go, was that a spot the difference competition with next door's lockup garage with the silver up and over door?

'In a house like this, you can't shut the community out'

So the ten foot high gates aren't a bleeding good try then?

Got to say I didn't get the exterior finish and the shape of the house, obviously made to fit the plot, but I love the interior finish.
