She didn't exactly handle the Starforce team with ease. She can be powered-down like Thor levelled up. I also reckon we'll see Hulk level up, in a sense in the next film.

Once she dropped that tech on her neck and found her power it was all pretty trivial.

Thor finally realised he’s a God. I don’t think we will see him at a lower power level than in IW.

Like I said I’m sure it has been confirmed about her power either way.

Went to see it again tonight, loads of little touches I missed first time around and I really appreciated the soundtrack this time around.

Sure it has already been confirmed she is the most powerful ‘good’ character in the MCU.
They are very good at playing their cards close to their chest. So I suspect that there is more to that statement.

Oh yes, I'm looking forward to the new and improved Hulk the most. He has the potential to be the strongest character in terms of pure strength and resilience so it's a shame we've only really seen snippets of that so far.

I have just seen it and I wasn’t aware of the controversy beforehand.

Fairly early on it seemed the film was making some heavy handed “isnt she a strong woman” moves. This kind of SJW appeasing nonsense is irritating. Just make a film with good characters.

Once she found her powers it did seem that she might be too powerful for things to be interesting perhaps?

Nah, the Hulk isn’t even in the same conversation as the really powerful and resilient characters. His anger is finite, so his strength is too.

Indeed - the soundtrack is excellent.

WRT the Hulk I'm sure I read somewhere that his rage was infinite and (real geekery now) he could be the strongest marvel character capable of breaking a planet

He is stronger in the comics than in the films.

I'm breaking my 'no new movie rule' for this. smile

I've ignored all discussion + reviews, even on here (just hit the reply button wink )

Hope to fit it in this weekend, and looking forward to it.

OK, she didn't have a real threat to overcome, more personal issues, but, I'm sure those have been a core part for most heroes in any series/movie.
That's one of the plusses for me. Not every hero film needs a big bad. I rather liked how it was a sort of memnto superhero film. It made the beats different. For comic fans, the 'big twist' was pretty cool too. Strangely, for a cosmic MCU film,it hd a very small story, which I also like.
Agreed. It was more a character building story. I really did enjoy it. I should have made that clearer in my post.

I respect your level of geekery. Yeah, his rage is infinite, so is his strength, plus as he ages, he gets stronger. There is a comic called World War Hulk where he gets close to achieving his prime, and Feig was toying with having a version of that 'worldbreaker' Hulk. It's possible we may see a version of this in Endgame. Hulk's character journey is happening in the ensemble films. He could still batter Marvel. biggrin

I thought TLJ was disrespectful, stupid and made far too many mistakes, also fairly limited. CM, I like, I felt it's a bit different to other MCU (not totally, but I don't get how people are saying it's the same formula), the delivery and style was different enough to make me forget it was mcu at times, more like an old space adventure film.

One wrinkle that did keep tapping on my brain. SHIELD...didn't they start calling themselves that at the end of Iron-Man...but now I think on it...Winter Soldier said SHIELD ws the popular acronym beforehand? I genuinely cannot recall?

You should probably never meet your heroes. RLM are the only YouTube channel I back via Patreon but I don't think I would actually want to meet them.

It was mentioned as being used since the Cold War at least. Peggy Carter was part of what transformed into SHIELD, I believe
