I just wondered what had happened to the Quattro to result in a 'Q' plate? ![scratchchin](/inc/images/scratchchin.gif)
Given the era, possibly stolen / recovered or custom build after an accident / reshell?![scratchchin](/inc/images/scratchchin.gif)
Edit - one of the online check sites lists it as a "1997 Audi Quattro" which isn't right based on the age of the original cars so maybe an import / reshell / custom build jobbie? Either way it's had expired tax / MOT since mid / late December '22, and the only MOT history that exists is from '20 & '21.

The current owner notes that although the DVLA lists this car as a 1997 model, this is purely a result of when it was re-registered with them. The vendor informs us that this car actually rolled off the production line in 1991 but was re-shelled by AM Cars and re-registered in 1997, hence the Q registration plate.
