Didn't princess Diana say similar things? Do you hate her as well?Yes she probably did and she was an attention-seeking narcissist too.....
"Hate" is a rarely used term for me, especially for a celebrity that I don't know personally, but I simply cannot understand all the fawning and idolising of Princess bloody Diana

Makes me laugh as well. The summer before she died people were on about her playboy lifestyle, she was getting slagged off by politicians and the press for interfering in politics, then when she dies, she's queen of hearts and saint Diana!Yes she probably did and she was an attention-seeking narcissist too.....

Her treatment by the paparazzi was terrible and it was a watershed for the royal family and the paparazzi, but she used the press when she needed a story about something she was doing.

So if someone wants some publicity for their charity work they should also accept helicopters above their house, reporters going through their bins, telefoto lenses aimed at their gardens and when they go on holiday and all the rest?Bizarre.

I don't think that Diana, or Megan, for that matter were/are inherently bad people.Yes she probably did and she was an attention-seeking narcissist too.....

However, I have known some people with personality disorders, and their ability to manipulate others is incredible. To be clear, it's almost certainly not deliberate on their part, and just that their paranoia and distrust of others causes them to constantly feel and act like a victim. Another common trait is to try and isolate any partner from friends and family, either by sowing the seeds of mistrust about them, or alienating them. To those who aren't too close to them, they can come across as sweet and charming, who are just being unfairly picked on, which naturally triggers an instinct (particlarly in men) to protect and defend them. To those closest to them, they require constant loyalty, attention and validation and, if ever that falls short, they're a fking nightmare. Which goes a long way to explaining why such people are adored by some and vilified by others.
Now, I'm not saying either have a personality disorder, but some claim that Diana was diagnosed with one, and Megan appears to come from the kind of dysfunctional background from which they can occur. Her relationship with Harry has certainly been about seperating and isolating him from his family, painting herself as the victim, and also appears to show some signs of codependency.
Once again, I don't think that makes her a bad person, and deserving of attacks by the press or others. As a previous poster said, both her and Harry probably need help rather than hate, but in constantly being the focus of attention, either deliberately or unwillingly, they're likely to endure more of the latter than the former.

Are Labour voters obliged to like her? This all seems like an 'ok when we do it' scenario. I'd suggest if this was Trump, Corbyn, Piers, etc, no-one would bat an eyelid.

South park have done a good review of the situation.
I came here looking for comments on ‘The Worldwide Privacy Tour’?Assumed there would be more or is there a dedicated thread?
It was very near the knuckle but hard not to laugh, between cringing… very clever and good!

I think there is another thread. I loved the bit where he says we don't want to be a brand, do we, looking at her, she doesn't respond. Brilliant really I don't think you could get away with this comedy in the UK.
Thanks will hunt for it rather than drag this one off topic…..Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
