Fellow PHers, please settle an argument for me.

Lucy Beaumont: genuinely thick, or an act?
I think it's all a clever act
I think she’s a comedians comedian. Several times both Greg and Alex have been in stitches.

I went to see Off Menu Live where she was the guest, the amount of random stuff she comes up with will catch anyone off guard...

I'd actually pay to watch the recordings of these, start to finish, from an audience POV.

Slightly off topic, but Lucy is out on tour over the coming months. Half considering going to see her scratchchin

we spent last night's relaxation in bed time watching outtakes of previous series

they really should do a late night unbleeped show

Yeah they just tone it down for the tv slot based on the content of the earlier series outtakes

The "Make the best spunky dick" outtake from S10 could indicate what an adult Taskmaster might be like, and possibly also what it would be like if Greg Davies was setting the tasks, but the novelty would wear off pretty quickly.

Yeah, a one off proper adult late night special

Well that's 16 done, loved the final task, the teaming of Sam, Lucy and Julian worked perfectly with Julian stood there shooing Alex out of the gate in his pants laugh

Kinda gutted they only revealed the New Year special cast at the end rather than S17, don't really care for the specials and really don't care for the lot that are doing it. You'd think they could do better than that given how big it is now? I'd have thought there'd be loads of well known, bigger celebs, who'd love to have a go at it....

I kind of agree. I think they are big enough to get anyone they want on that show but also it's nice to give lesser known people that chance

When I'm a Celebrity is paying some people £1.5M to go on that show, I doubt Taskmaster has the budget to compete.

Another good series, I'm sure the special will be entertaining enough but like others have said I'm surprised there aren't bigger celebs climbing over each other to be in it for free now.

I'd love to know what happened to Susan after the doughnut task, that was next level grot and as Greg said it seemed like "there were things coming out that didn't go in" biglaugh

Yeah, but you're not getting a drawer full of cutlery from the Isle of Wight ferry, or a BMX, or a sausage or pork pie presentation unit on IACGMOOH. You can't buy that.

Enjoyed the final and I know who 4 of the New Year people are hehe .

This came up on my YouTube random recommendations yesterday, watched it this morning. It's a good interview with Alex and Greg about putting Taskmaster together, their on screen characters, and a bit on series 16.
