New Oral B adverts with celebs from First Dates and Hollyoaks in dentist chairs.

They've been made to wear safety glasses.

They're using an electric tooth brush not a circular saw.....wobble
I have to wear goggles when my dentist gets to work...
Same here, stops my own specs getting coated with debris when she's deep cleaning.

You're not talking about the sainted Anna Ryder-Richardson by any chance, are you?

Well, corblimey guv, it would seem that my ignorance knows no bounds! They're both supposed to be famous! I'm the one who didn't recognise Kevin Bacon in the Vodafone ads either - 'til my son filled me in. getmecoat

Ah, not seen that one.

Moving on, the nauseous Home Peloton ad has been mentioned before here, but isn’t the instructor really creepy looking, or is it just my fertile imagination?

thumbup Well, it has been a while since she was poncing about with Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen on the telly.

And I think it is I who should be mildly ashamed for knowing/remebering who she issmile.

How is having a recording of a borderline sociopath shouting at you on a flatscreen display supposed to motivate you to greater heights of exercise bicycling? What a load of pretentious nonsense.

Peloton tried to float the company on the stock market recently but had to pull the offer due to lack of interest. https://www.scotsman.com/business/jim-duffy-what-n...

Asda seem to be flogging their full length Christmas ad to death already. On Quest and the other FTA channels it was on every break. Presumably to try and counter the bad press of potentially firing 20,000 staff on the run-up to Christmas. The full Hollywood orchestral track isn't really doing it.

I believe it made it's debut last night so I assume it will calm down a bit.

I see Walkers have managed to produced another singularly unfunny crisps advert with Mariah Carey. Just dreadful.
