Line of Duty (BBC Police Drama)

There was never a suggestion in the questioning that Ted killed Corbett himself, yet the hair found on Corbett’s body was solid evidence against him?
And Dot in his dying declaration confirmed H was the first letter of the name, but excluded the first few letters which Kate managed to run through. HAstings thus being impossible...

Corbett presumably was Ted's son, from his involvement with his mother back during the troubles
Yes 100% wife said it ages ago and she only watches it half heartedlyHe was married and despite wanting to play hide the sausage with Gill he didn’t, saying it was because he was still married (ie a devout catholic)

Enjoyed that episode and thought they wrapped up the different storylines quite well however still a bit confused re Lisa - the panic attacks earlier in the series, crying when Corbett dies, the connection between ted and her?

Surely any ordinary custody suite would have been more appropriate ...
I know it's done for the drama, but a detail that kept bugging me was Steve and Kate pulling out handguns like they're standard issue at the end. Steve is/was an AFO previously so probably has authority to request a firearm if needed (I presume), but what about Kate? Can they both just go up to the firearms office and request them?
I'm probably reading too much into it but to be fair and I can't remember much of the last 5 seasons and the backstory of both of them as it's been a while,

,
Wasn’t Kate a TFC in a previous episode?,
Anyway the bit I thought odd was Steve getting PTSD after shooting WPC Ginger....
Nice return to form for those fans of the earlier series'. Not boring in the slightest imo.
Glad they brought up Ted shooting the ocg member in interview, been annoying for ages that! He's still a bit slippery, still the head of Anti corruption with a final written warning
Gonna have to go back and watch Gill like a hawk and look for more clues.
I liked DCS Carmichael in the end, I obviously have issues

Yep, said exactly the same to SWMBO. And Dot in his dying declaration confirmed H was the first letter of the name, but excluded the first few letters which Kate managed to run through. HAstings thus being impossible...
As for the whole episode in general, the whole thing was so much more intense mainly consisting of the interview and interaction between Hastings and Carmichael and the one-upmanship of Bigolo over Carmichael and Big Ears and then Fleming and Arnott over Bigolo.
Great drama and proper edge of the seat stuff. Loved it.

Yeah they are both AFO's and used firearms throughout S3.I'm probably reading too much into it but to be fair and I can't remember much of the last 5 seasons and the backstory of both of them as it's been a while,

Series-3 Danny Waldron - She was identified as firearms trained when she went under cover with the firearms team.I'm probably reading too much into it but to be fair and I can't remember much of the last 5 seasons and the backstory of both of them as it's been a while,

Kate was an AFO in series 3 ( undercover) and she also shot Dot didn't she ?Anyway the bit I thought odd was Steve getting PTSD after shooting WPC Ginger....
Real life would dictate that she would be unable to do her requals for her ticket ( probably) but hey ho ...
Ginger Tranter was actually a Sergeant but was referred to as a Constable in the bit at the end ... PH, pedantry matters - continuity fail.
