All in all another underwhelming series in my opinion.
Better than 15 certainly, but the magic seems to have gone (for me anyway)
I think the main thing is the tasks - they are getting very convoluted and quite hard to follow at times.
Also the chemistry in the studio is still off - there seems very little genuine connection between the contestants.

Sue and Susan seemed like they were practically married by the end of it. The other three aren't the connecting types and that made things amusingly awkward at times.

I suspect he was having a great time. 'dour comedian ' isn't for everyone bigandclever said:

Lucy Beaumont and Sam Campbell are starting a podcast in 2024, 'Lucy and Sam's Perfect Brains'. Just a 1 minute trailer so far but it's out there wherever you do your podcasts.
That'll batst and super nasally Perfect bedtime stories.

I get the feeling this'll either be amazing or ste, I kind of think you need other (more normal) people with these two to react to their insanity and so the both of them together could just end up a garbled bunch of nonsense. A weekly podcast with a different guest, say a different comedian every week, could work a treat and be absolutely hilarious!

Kiell in for Mae for COC3....
Not a bad thing IMO as whilst I didn't dislike Mae, she didn't really bring anything other than boring competency.
I'm ok with that. MM was busy in America when it was filmed. https://www.chortle.co.uk/news/2023/12/14/54693/ma...Not a bad thing IMO as whilst I didn't dislike Mae, she didn't really bring anything other than boring competency.

I suspect he was having a great time. 'dour comedian ' isn't for everyone i thought julian clary came off well. he was clearly self amused/bemused by it and he's definitely more intelligent than i thought he would be. to do the 'dour comedian' well you need to be quick and clever, otherwise you just end up with jo brand.

Very true!Julian was brilliant and having re-watched (yes I'm that obsessed) almost every episode now he get's better when you kind of know what's coming and that he's really leaning into it.
