The Last Kingdom appears to be back on there - very easy to watch.
Except when you've read the books. Then it's a bit of a joke.

If you haven't read them, then I'm sure it'll be fine.
I've read the first couple (so I know what's coming thus far in the season) and can still live with it. Bernard Cornwall stuff is usually light entertainment/easy reading for me so trading that off for a TV series that the missus will also enjoy is worth it for me.

Finished Braquo yesterday.

Really enjoyable series, but "sad" it's over. Not sure what to watch next....tempted by Spiral/Engrenages as I've heard good things about that, though I can only find seasons 1-3, I can't find 4 or 5 frown

Im really enjoying Occupied.

A little too believable....
Saw the first two over the weekend, as you say it's close enough to the truth to be believable. The only thing that doesn't ring true is the Russians doing the EU's dirty work and the EU being organised enough to actually co-ordinate a response so quickly.

Watch the rest of the series and it'll become clearer.

Another vote for Power, I kinda put this off as it was a bit too rap scene for me, but I loved it.

Characters grow on you, something is always happening, great series. Got through 3 series in a few weeks. The only thing that id say was bad, and I cant believe i'm saying this is the constant shagging. At first your like, hey ho, but after a while, your like come on.... laugh I wanna see that guy getting shot

To be fair though, first episode first series "oh his wifes pretty hot" and about 10 minutes later they deliver!

I've just noticed Gone Girl and Premium Rush on there. Going to watch them both again. The latter is a fantastic film.

Siege of Jadotville is one of the best things I've ever watched.

I've recently started White Collar.
Quite an easy watch.
Con man turned FBI consultant, heists etc.
Nicely paced but a bit far fetched.

I need a fking break - the Sons of Anarchy became a war of attrition for me - finally, I won it last night.

The Netflix button on the TV remote is winking at me as I watch an average GP, and I have thoughts of Season Two of Narco's or the latest Season of Homeland polluting my thoughts.....
You've got more Stamina than me, packed in SoA around season 4.

Latest Homeland is nothing to write home about.

In your shoes I'd be looking at S2 of Narcos or an Archer marathon.

The US version of Shameless with William H Macey as Frank Gallagher has been added today. I know its going to different to the original, but is it good different or bad different?

I think the sci-fi series The Expanse comes to Netflix sometime this week, or next.

I haven't seen the original but the US version is good (despite most of the characters making consistently terrible and stupid life choices ..)

I started watching Designated Survivor last night. It's looking good so far after the first 3 episodes.

Never heard of this, but it's got a very high IMDB rating. What sort of comedy is it? I quite like South Park smile
