I have recently discovered Still Game and cannot for the life of me understand how I missed this when it was on TV in the early 2000's.

Absolutely brilliant comedy.

Mrs G and my good self have just gorged ourselves on the first two series and are now trying to pace ourselves on S3 just to make it last.

Black Mirror is killing me at the moment.

I feel like I have PTSD after each episode. Can only watch one at a time!

its good, but I feel your pain. I cant do it. It just depresses me. I kinda enjoy it, I think fk this is weird but good, but I cannot do it.

I shudder at a lot of the stuff.

Another one for an Amazon Prime series.

Red Oaks - If you fondly remember John Hughes films from the 80's then this will be for you. I've binge watched season 1 and 2 over the past couple of days and thoroughly enjoyed.

Is this the new episodes? I've watched the originals but not moved on to the new ones yet.

I'm enjoying Designated Survivor, so far.

Also started Goliath which is pretty good, three episodes in. That's Prime though.

I noticed that CT Fletcher, My Magnificent Obsession is on Netflix now.

Definitely worth a watch if you are into bodybuilding.

My wife won't watch them unless we have something 'feel good' lined up afterwards (which is why we've been watching 'The Get Down'), I like them but they're definitely disturbing - I think it's the way they stretch reality but only a little way, you can imagine them happening.

Mine wont watch them at all. Too dark for her.

She normally goes and watches a cooking programme instead hehe

I know this is to make people aware of hidden gems, however I feel that I should post a warning.

Designated Survivor.
First episode and set up were interesting and enjoyable in a good old thriller romp sort of way.

By the end of the second episode I was shouting at the telly and gagging at the schmaltzy sentimentality simultaneously.

I shan't be bothering with episode 3
I kinda like it. Let's see what ep.3 brings.

I relented and watched the next 3 and it's quite good.
One a week though?

I read that as the Musical version of Das Boot, not sure it that's better or worse than Springtime for Hitler.

hehe no. The 2 1/2 hour film version. There's also a 3 1/2 hour Directors Cut version, the BBC miniseries version, the nearly 5 hour uncut version... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Das_Boot#Versions

Good film though whichever way.

Shooter. Netflix Original series of the Wahlberg film which is a guilty pleasure of mine. Just watched the first one and thought it was pretty good actually. Cant binge as it looks like its being released weekly.

I'm in.
