It does seem to be building well. Mike being back in full-swing now.
How SG expected his shenigans to be well-received by Kim is beyond me.
That's the beauty of their relationship (and why Kim's last line was such a bolt out of the blue but at the same time wasn't). Jimmy genuinely thought he'd found a way to get Kim off-the-hook with Rick, avoid her having to pay the difference in the settlement, get the call centre on the location Kim and the rest of the legal team had recommended to Kevin (who had only rejected it because he'd been stubborn) plus strike a couple of social justice blows for the guy in the house and the native American artist. His delivery was shocking but how else could he have got that result. How SG expected his shenigans to be well-received by Kim is beyond me.
He wasn't doing it for himself and Kim sees that but she knows he walks a line.
That's why I love his character so much - he has a strange moral code, but deep down he at least has one.

There is a theory that Kim becomes Wendy.
Okay I instantly thought - thats nuts!.....However, seems like quite a few people have theories that too!
I like Kim - but I just assumed half of her back story & reason she wasnt in BB is because shes a bit boring.. the straight edge that keeps Jimmy on the right track.
So maybe thats intentionally blank and is actually leading somewhere.
ETA> Or maybe I've spent too long on the conspiracy theory thread today

Hmm, interesting. I hadn't seen it that way. Let's see what happens next!He wasn't doing it for himself and Kim sees that but she knows he walks a line.

But that could just be SG bull.
I'm up to date now after somehow failing to watch the second half of the previous series. We know Kim isn't around in BB and I thought that was the end for them so the ending was a bit of a shock.
Nice to see Hank again. I was so tense watching the fryer cleaning scene. great TV.

I remain convinced that Breaking Bad is unsurpassed in TV drama. I was hooked within minutes of the first episode starting , and still hooked 3000 episodes later.
But bloody hell, Better Call Saul is almost as good , with fantastic , in depth characterisation that most TV drama lacks . The slow burn of each episode is addictive , and I love the relative lack of action The camera work and editing is outstanding too - no changes of camera angle every nano second , but lingering , superbly lit shots instead .
And I am slightly besotted by Kim Wexler too, All good then...

it is so doffernt to other shows, that are churned out. Kim/Wendy is a great character.
your winding me up arnt you?! You dont really believe that theory do you?.. she can't possibly slip that low.. and I've googled loads of pics - they don't even look similar (even with meth added into the mix).Nimby said:
I love that. The boardroom scene this week was excellent, the way he walked out at the end whistling
Another excellent episode.
Highlights for me
When Kim and Rich go back into Kevin's office after the difficult meeting and Kim tells Kevin exactly how it was. Plus the little smile from Paige seeing her boss owned and put in his place.
The shot in the court lobby when Jimmy is peeping round the corner and the juxtaposition of the reflection, the good side and the dark side, he's not completely gone over yet. Cinematographic genius right there.
