How is it a dead man’s switch if his thumb is taped, holding the trigger down?

Indeed, poorly advised, the whole situation was a farce. Letting him walk through London wearing a bomb, yeah right.

Quite.

He woke up with his thumb on the trigger so not like he had to hold it too hard is it?

Also taking off the lid of the control box?! Any normal numpty would have a microswitch under there.

Did they lose most of the script somewhere then have to quickly make some stuff up?

Lots of gaps and what was left was inconsistent.

Me too, bit too much over analysing going on methinks. It's wasn't meant to be a documentary. Enjoyable and kept us guessing.

smile nicely inconspicuous for tailing baddies. Whose was it anyway, we hadn’t seen it before?

Ha ha. Such a subtle colour for a tail car as well.

I enjoyed it but the taped thumb really pissed me off.

I interpreted it as it being rich PR girl’s who he was with.

Bit disappointed with the last episode. It wasn’t bad, but I was expecting a bigger twist.

I was also expecting her (Home Secretary) to still be alive!

The ending should have been the Home Secretary was still alive and it was actually her who has assisted the “Engineer” and she had specifically selected the bodyguard - using her sensual body to cloud his judgement.

Regardless a thouroughly enjoyable series - Well done BBC.
Thinking about it the BBC have been delivering some cracking dramas for a long time now after the doldrums. Does make me wonder why I have Sky frankly ..... could save a fortune.

The disgruntled PR girl... Who, by the way, we never quite understood whether she was recruited by baddies post her sacking or there was some kind of long term baddy Insider in the home office...

Anyway my wife was wrong she thought Julia was still alive, and I won £10.

Bit of a safe ending. Should have finished when he ran off, leaving evidence incriminating the Police boss + crim
